Just after Christmas 2011/12, on our way to Key West for New Years and 1 mile after we saw this sign......
...our Jeep blew a serpentine belt (YA SERPENtine!) and we were stranded IN the crocodile crossing with our 3 labs in the truck. As I quickly transferred them to the trailer to wait for service, the phrase "three square meals" did go through my mind.
Johnny thought I should let him out for a swim. I thought he'd become a crocodile snack, so he watched the sunset.
Oh, the indignity!
We try not to sweat the small stuff, and what the heck; we had wine onboard and we were in Key Largo....so what if it was in the dusty parking lot of a closed garage. We had fun and we even barbequed.
